Numerous traces of Verona’s long history are to be found in the old part of its city centre. The centre and neighbouring areas can be easily visited on foot.

Piazza Bra is dominated by the impressive Roman Arena, built in 1 BC, and one of the most important well preserved Roman amphitheatres.

During the summer season, the Arena is used for the famous opera festival, and often hosts concerts of music, music and opera. Let’s see today how to get to Verona Arena: If you decide to take the train, the Arena is just 1.5 km from the train station. You can walk on foot, or take buses 11, 12, and 13.
