This is the perfect trip for anyone who wants to discover the history and millenary tradition of the famous “Black Gold” of Modena

We will leave Verona early morning, to reach in about 1 hour the magic Food Valley of Italy: Modena area.

We will start the day with a visit to one of Modena’s oldest traditional balsamic vinegar families

Here the producer himself will welcome us, touring his vineyards and seeing all the stages of production from the pressing of grapes to the barrel aging. You will smell the delicious scent of vinegar in every corner.

The experience includes plenty of vinegar samples and we’ll taste some very old vinegars, more then 50 y.old, too.

As this family are also olive oil producers, we will also do a proper olive oil tasting before our lunch.

Our morning will end with a delicious lunch* directly at the terrace overlooking the valley, based on awards and regionals food, the so famous “gnocco fritto of Modena”, all paired with and a glass of Lambrusco wine produced on-site.

In the afternoon we will reach Modena city center.

This city sits in the heart of Italy, is known for its excellent local cuisine.

Here you will have some free time to get lost in its tiny streets, to have a caffè in its beautiful squares or to visit its food market.

Back in Verona before dinner.

*Lunch during the week is based on: 3 different cold cuts ( mortadella; coppa; Parma Ham 24y.old) 3 different cheeses ( Parmigiano included), vegetables and gnocco fritto bread. Lambrusco wine + warm bruschetta with their EVO.
