COVID-19 RULES AT YOUR LOCAL GUIDE SNC
Your Local Guide snc takes the current situation responsibly and we pay maximum attention to the health aspect. This is why we have provided a series of basic rules.
The number of seats available for each tour is limited to 10 to ensure social distancing; to 6 for those in the minivan or 8 if you are one unique group-
All our staff, who is fully vaccinated, will wear the mask when necessary.
Our vehicles and cars are sanitized on each tour with alcohol-based disinfectants.
We have equipped with sanitizing soaps every closed space we manage: our office, cooking school, tasting rooms inside the wineries , restaurants and in general all places we will visit during our tour.

Your local Guide Snc is a company operating in tourism sector as tourist and travel agency focused on incoming.
A minimum number of 2 pax is required to start any excursion, unless specified. Bookings are subject to place and language availability.
Where, due to operational difficulties or reasons beyond its control (travel conditions, strikes, changes in opening hours, closure of museums, delays or other problems), the organization should be obliged to change the program, then an alternative itinerary and/or visits to other museums will be proposed, without any variation to the established tariff, and the client will be informed prior to departure.
In the case of unexpected increases of individual prices, exceeding 10%, as a result of new taxes or duties, the tariffs will be adjusted and the clients notified in writing.
All travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for the child’s day to day care. Please refer to the child policy of each individual Your Local Guide service for more details.
Proof of age must be available for inspection on the day of travel. If a traveller is identified as not qualifying for a child price (if a child price is available for the tour), the traveller will be required to provide the balance of difference between the adult rate and child rate for the tour before being permitted to start the trip.
The traveler making the booking is responsible for their own actions and the actions of other travelers included in their booking. If Your Local Guide deems your or the your party’s actions to cause danger to other travelers or our staff, interfere with other clients enjoyment of the trip or be deemed to be offensive to the local community and culture Your Local Guide reserves the right to remove you from the tour effective immediately. No refund will be supplied.
The decision of the Your Local Guide is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any person participating in the trip. If you fail to comply with a decision made by a Your Local Guide, or interfere with the well-being of the group, the guide may order you to leave the trip immediately, with no right of refund. You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of Italy, and you also agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.
Guests grant Your Local Guide express permission to take photographs or make film records of its trips for promotional and commercial use, as well as approving such use by third parties with whom Your Local Guide may engage in joint marketing, without financial remuneration.
- Online Selling contract
Online selling contract means a distance contract between a store, Romeo And Juliet Guide based in Verona – Via Santa Maria Rocca Maggiore 1, and a consumer using internet. All contracts will be closed directly by the user access to website www.romeoandjulietguide.com, where client will finalize the online purchase of goods. It’s assumed that final user is the person that is buying service or goods not for his professional activity. Here follows all the conditions that will be valid until changed by the supplier. Any change of conditions of sale will be affective from the time they are published on website and will refer to sales made from that moment onwards.
- Sells prices and purchase terms
All goods prices, that are a consumer offer according to article 1336 c.c., including Italian taxes. All packages are virtual product so no shipping cost will be added to products.
The prices are intended per person unless explicitly indicated.
The purchase contract is concluded through providing and the expressed consensus of manage personal data.
The customer can pay for the goods ordered using only the payment methods indicated on-line at the time of purchase. Once the payment has been made, the customer will receive by e-mail the vouchers for the use of the chosen package, other necessary documents (eg maps with itineraries and timetables, etc.) and/or an order confirmation.
- Buyer’s duties
The client, after online order closing, has to print and save this general purchase conditions that he has also accepted in buying procedure, as well as the specific characteristics of the purchased product, according to art. 3 and 4 of the italian Decr. Legisl. n. 185/1999. It is strictly prohibited to provide false data during the registration process required for execution of this contract and all subsequent communications. The personal data and e-mail address must be real data and not some of another person. It is expressly forbidden to make double entries for a single person or enter data of third parties. The company reserves the right to prosecute any violation or abuse, and for the protection of all consumers.
- Right of withdrawal and cancellation
The tour will be confirmed once the minimum number of participants is reached (check in the program about the minimum number requested). In case the excursion can’t be confirmed you will be informed on the day before the departure. A lack of communication may be due to the impossibility to reach you at the given phone number, email address, or hotel address. In this case, please contact us calling one of the phone numbers listed in the voucher or writing at firstname.lastname@example.org
- CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
If you wish to cancel a reservation please note that we will apply following conditions:
Cancellation of a tour that has never been confirmed by our email:
– Full refund of the amount by the same money transfer method of the payment (by wire transfer or credit card payment; by cash in case of cash payment at the agency);
– if you pre-payed by credit card or wire transfer, Your Local Guide will write off the credited amount within a week; please note that after this operation the credit of the amount on your account might take up to 70 days, depending on covenant conditions between your bank and Your Local Guide’s bank.
Cancellation of GROUP TOURS that has been confirmed by our email:
- Full refund less Stripe/Paypal/Bank expenses, for tours cancelled up to 8 calendar days before the date of the tour.
- Charge of the deposit done via website Stripe/Paypal/Bank expenses included, for tours/trips cancelled up to 6 calendar days before the date of the tour.
- Charge of 100% (NO REFUND) of the total amount, for tours cancelled after 6 calendar days before the date of the tour.
Your Local Guide is not responsible in case confirmation emails are delivered into your spam e-mail box.
FULL REFUND IN CASE YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO TRAVEL DUE TO A GLOBAL COVID EMERGENCY.
Cancellation of PRIVATE TOURS that has been confirmed by our email:
- Full refund less Stripe/Paypal/Bank expenses, for tours cancelled up to 15 calendar days before the date of the tour.
- Charge of 50% of the total amount ( the deposit) for tours cancelled up to 10 calendar days before the date of the tour;
- Charge of 100% ( NO REFUND) of the total amount less Stripe/Paypal/Bank expenses, for private tours cancelled after 10 calendar days before the date of the tour.
FULL REFUND IN CASE YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO TRAVEL DUE TO A GLOBAL COVID EMERGENCY.
Cancellation of PRIVATE HOLIDAYS (or multi day activities) that has been confirmed by our email:
- Full refund less Stripe/Paypal/Bank expenses, + SERVICE FEE* agreed for trips cancelled up to 20 calendar days before the date of the tour.
- Charge of 100% ( NO REFUND) , for private itineraries cancelled after 20 calendar days before the date of the trip.
*SERVICE FEE: in order to guarantee a serious job, for multiple days itineraries, a SERVICE FEE to plan and schedule bespoke itineraries, book services, hotels, facilities, transports etc, will be required as guarantee. Part or all the amount will be deduct from the whole amount of the trip, as agreed before. Amount of deposit depends on the days of the trip. In case of cancellation up to 20 days before the date of arrival, the amount previously agreed will be return. No refund for trips canceled after 20 days before the date of the trip.
Cancellation of PRIVATE TOURS between Your Local Guide Snc and an other T.O/TRAVEL AGENCY:
- A deposit of 30% NOT REFUNDABLE will be asked at the confirmation of the program.
- Charge of 50% of the total amount Stripe/Paypal/Bank expenses included, for programs cancelled up to 20 calendar days before the date of the trip.
- Charge of 100% ( NO REFUND) of the total amount, for programs cancelled after 20 calendar days before the date of the tour.
WE ARE VERY SENSITIVE AND WE TAKE SERIOUSLY THE COVID 19 PROBLEMS, SO IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES / PRIVATE ISSUES, WE WILL MANAGE THE SITUATION IN THE BEST WAY, BASED ON CLIENT’S NEEDS.
CANCELLATION BY THE TOUR OPERATOR
Cancellations operated by the tour operator Your Local Guide can happen mainly because a tour has not been confirmed, or due to force majeure. In both cases Your Local Guide will apply the above explained conditions listed under “Cancellation of a tour that has never been confirmed by our email”.
- Contract resolution
Romeo And Juliet Guide has the right to terminate the contract of sale providing by a written notice to the customer for justified reasons. In this case the customer will only be entitled to a refund of the amount already paid.
- Jurisdiction and venue
Any dispute relating to the application, execution, interpretation and breach of online purchase contracts in romeoandjulietguide.com is subject to Italian jurisdiction. These conditions are reported according to Legislative Decree No. 50 of 15.1.1992 and Legislative Decree No. 185 of 22.5.1999. Any dispute between suppliers and customer, relating to this contract, will be a competence of the court of customer’s residence or elective domicile (Art. 1469 Bis N. 19). For all other forums will be a competence of Verona court.
- Any personal information provided or collected through the operations performed on www.romeoandjulietguide.com will be treated only by Your local Guide snc, located at Via Santa Maria rocca Maggiore 1, Verona.
The data will be used only to communicate with the customer, to manage orders and process accounting required by the Italian tax legislation.
Selling customer’s personal information to anybody is not part of the activities of Your local Guide snc, therefore the customer’s personal information will be disclosed only in the case where this is expressly required by the Italian law.
All staff of Your local Guide snc in the conduct of its business is acting in a manner consistent with this privacy statement.
